Who we are?
World Youth Stars is a Delaware, US registered LLC specializing in providing young sports people with the opportunity to establish their presence on the World Wide Web via our online profiles, expert statistical analysis and online community.
Under their parent's supervision, our members are able to communicate with like minded peers, publish their personal sports diaries, view and post their personal sports videos and pictures and participate in contests and giveaways.
Our Services
In addition to being able to communicate with peers on our social network WYS Connect, each player associated with World Youth Stars LLC receives health insurance and access to discounted sporting goods at participating retailers. Upon registration, players are also automatically entered into prize raffles with the possibility of winning various prizes including sporting goods and event tickets.
How does WYS ensure members' online safety?
Because our social network caters for young sportspeople, we are aware of the dangers of online predation. This is why our social network boasts a specially designed registration protocol:
* Young sports people wishing to participate in our social network submit a request via our online registration form. During the registration process they are asked for their parents' name and phone number.
* Once a potential member submits a registration request, our staff contacts their parents via the provided phone number and we arrange for the parents and potential member to visit one of our offices for an interview.
* Only once an interview is conducted with a potential member and their parents do we allocate the potential member a username and password for our social network.
Additionally, WYS does not distribute or share members' personal information with any third party.
