World Youth Stars to Kick Off From Bosnia Hercegovina

World Youth Stars AG aims to provide a social network platform for players aged 7 – 17 to showcase their sports skills and make friends in a safe and protected online environment.

We are the first social network in the world to cater solely for young sports people of all races, colors and background. Our aim is to use our social network as a medium to unite, inspire and give hope to young people who may be having a hard time in their day to day lives.

As a direct consequence of our aims, we are launching our website publicly from Bosnia Herzegovina. Following the highly publicized conflict in the region in the 90s, we believe the Balkans are a perfect stepping stone in our quest of uniting the world’s young players around a common cause – sport.

World Youth Stars AG will be holding a press conference announcing our launch on Tuesday, 10 November 2009 at 13:00 at the “Dom Mladih”, SC Skenderija in Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina.

26 media houses from the region and from across the world have currently confirmed their presence at the press conference.

Following the press conference, the official launch of the World Youth Stars website will be held at the same venue on Thursday, 12 November 2009 starting from 17:00. The official launch will feature a presentation of WYS project aims and WYS member benefits. In addition, representatives of WYS partners Croatia and Triglav insurance companies will address the public.

WYS is proud to invite sports club representatives, members of youth organizations and other sports and youth workers to the event.

We can confirm the attendance of FIFA and UEFA official representatives, representatives of the Croatian and Bosnian football associations, a significant number of licensed FIFA agents, PM (Fitline) sports vitamin company representatives from Switzerland and WYS staff and representatives at the event.
