WYS Promoted In Slovenia
The World Youth Stars website and concept launched recently as the ultimate destination for everyone seeking to get involved in youth football – players, parents, managers and clubs.
WYS coordinator Mladen Pralija’s first step in a push to promote the WYS brand globally was Slovenia where he was joined by Matej Polegek – WYS manager for Slovenia – in a visit to the Slovenian Football Federation (NS Slovenia) headquarters where they presented the WYS project to the NS Slovenia president Ivan Simic.
Mr Simic could not hide his enthusiasm as he listened to what has been achieved so far and what’s in store in the future with the WYS project – he was especially impressed by what he sees as an “opportunity for all young players to show their footballing abilities on a global stage” regardless of what league or country they compete in.
Additionally, Mr Simic underlined that it’s wonderful that all players receive complimentary health insurance and other sports benefits by affiliating with WYS.
Mr Simic promised a full support for the WYS project in the future.
Mr Pralija completed his Slovenia visit by signing an agreement with health insurance giants Triglav that will guarantee health insurance for WYS members from 8 countries across Europe.
